I was jazzed to join Hylo a while back to be a part of the Zebras Unite community there...In looking at community platforms at Creative Commons, I saw a lot to like about Hylo — especially in their ethics — and so love that this collaboration is happening. A challenge we face at CC is the global nature of our community, which means so many folks are using Whatsapp and/or Telegram for conversation and it's a barrier to entry for many to engage on a platform that does not already have their attention. I could certainly understand that such a thorny knot like this need would be a top focus for Hylo right now, but it's a challenge that I'd love to help explore.
I love the “public-spirited” approach that they’re using to elevate the health of digital public spaces - and the fact that they’re sharing the journey and “building in public” what a cool community
